AI Consultant Emily

Meet Emily, Your AI Consultant

The AI Consultant is an interactive voice and chat assistant named Emily. Think of Emily as your personal onboarding guide — she can walk you through template setup, help troubleshoot a note, configure automations, and answer general questions about how DeepCura works.

Unlike the Help Center articles you are reading now, Emily is conversational. You can ask follow-up questions, describe your specific workflow, and get tailored guidance in real time.

How to Access the AI Consultant

  1. Open the left sidebar.
  2. Under the LEARN section, click AI Consultant.
  3. The AI Consultant page opens with a metallic orb animation in the center of the screen and a chat input bar at the bottom.

Emily greets you automatically and lets you know she is ready to help.

How to Interact

You have two ways to communicate with Emily:

  • Type a message — Use the chat input bar at the bottom of the screen. Type your question or request and press Enter.
  • Speak — Click the microphone button next to the chat input bar. Emily uses voice recognition to understand your spoken question and responds with both text and audio.

Emily responds in real time through a voice connection, so the conversation feels natural and fluid — similar to speaking with a colleague.

What Emily Can Help With

Emily is trained on DeepCura's full feature set. Here are the most common use cases:

  • Template setup — Describe your specialty and preferred note format, and Emily walks you through selecting or customizing a template.
  • Note troubleshooting — If a generated note does not match your expectations, describe the issue and Emily suggests adjustments to your template or recording approach.
  • Automation configuration — Emily can explain how to set up auto-push to your EHR, auto-fax, or other workflow automations.
  • General questions — Ask about billing, credits, EHR integrations, team management, or any other DeepCura feature.

Tips for Getting the Best Help

Emily performs best when you give her context. Here are a few tips:

  1. Mention your specialty. Saying "I'm a cardiologist" helps Emily recommend the right templates and workflows for your practice.
  2. Describe your workflow. Instead of "How do templates work?", try "I dictate my notes after each patient visit and want the note pushed to eClinicalWorks automatically."
  3. Be specific about the problem. If something is not working as expected, describe what you see versus what you expected. For example: "My HPI section is missing the patient's medication history."
  4. Ask follow-up questions. Emily remembers the context of your conversation, so you can build on previous answers without repeating yourself.

AI Consultant vs. Help Center Articles

Use the Help Center articles when you want structured, step-by-step walkthroughs that you can reference repeatedly — such as this onboarding module.

Use Emily when you have a specific question, need personalized guidance for your practice, or want to troubleshoot something interactively. Emily is especially useful once you are actively using DeepCura and encounter a situation that falls outside the standard documentation.

Both resources are always available. You can switch between them at any time.
