Patient Management dashboard

The Sidebar — Your Command Center

The left sidebar is how you move through DeepCura. It is divided into two sections: MAIN (your daily workflow tools) and LEARN (support and configuration). Let's walk through each one.

MAIN Section

This is where you spend most of your time.

Patients (+)

Your patient directory. View all patients, open their charts, and create new patient records by clicking the + button. Each patient card shows their recent notes, encounters, and contact information.

Templates

Manage your clinical note templates. DeepCura comes with pre-built templates for common specialties (SOAP, H&P, progress notes), and you can create custom templates tailored to your workflow.

Agents

This is the hub for all of DeepCura's AI tools. Click Agents to expand the submenu and access all nine agents:

AI Schedule

View and manage your appointment calendar. If you have connected an EHR system, your appointments sync here automatically. You can also see scheduled AI Nurse intake calls.

Team

Collaborate with your staff. This expands into two sub-items:

  • Team Members — Invite colleagues, assign roles, and manage team access
  • Team Chat — Send real-time messages to your team within DeepCura

Network

Browse and share note templates with the DeepCura community. Discover templates created by other clinicians in your specialty, or publish your own for others to use.

LEARN Section

Resources to help you get the most from DeepCura.

AI Consultant

Your in-app AI assistant. Open a chat with the AI Consultant to ask questions about features, get help writing notes, or troubleshoot issues. This is the same assistant who greeted you on your first login.

Analytics

Track your usage statistics — notes created, time saved, encounters processed, and more. Useful for measuring the impact of AI on your practice efficiency.

Settings

Configure your account. This expands into two sub-items:

  • Profile Settings — Update your name, specialty, EHR connection, AI model preferences, notification settings, and subscription details
  • Automation Rules — Create custom rules that trigger actions automatically (e.g., auto-send notes to your EHR after approval)

The Top Navigation Bar

The top bar provides quick-access controls that are always visible regardless of which page you are on:

  • Language - of transcription
  • Theme Toggle — Switch between light mode and dark mode
  • Notifications — Bell icon showing unread alerts (new faxes, completed notes, team messages)
  • Avatar — Your profile picture or initials, linking to quick account actions
  • Credit Balance — Shows your remaining AI credits. Each AI operation (note generation, billing codes, AI chat) consumes credits. You can purchase more credits or upgrade your plan from Settings > Profile Settings
  • Profile / Logout — Quick access to your profile and a sign-out button

Navigating on Mobile

DeepCura is fully responsive. On tablets and phones:

  • The sidebar collapses into a hamburger menu (three horizontal lines) in the top-left corner
  • Tap the hamburger icon to open the sidebar as an overlay
  • Tap any menu item to navigate, and the sidebar closes automatically
  • All features are available on mobile — the layout adapts but nothing is hidden
