The Patient Panel shows you the patient profile your AI reads on every note. Your scribe no longer sees just the visit audio — every note generation automatically includes the patient's demographics, insurance, and clinical profile. This panel is where you see exactly what that is, and where you pick any extra context to include.
🪪 The identity strip
Pinned at the top: the patient's name, date of birth, age, and an allergy badge — always visible while you work, so there's never a question of whose chart you're in.
🧠 The Memory tab
The distilled profile the AI carries into your next note:
- Problems, medications, and allergies — current lists, each entry badged by how it was verified (clinician-confirmed, imported from an EHR, patient-reported, or AI-suggested). Unverified never looks verified.
- Latest values — recent vitals, labs, and tracked metrics with mini trend sparklines. Click any series to study the full chart.
- Narratives — the current summary per section (family history, social history, past medical history, surgical history).
- Admin changes since last visit — a collapsed expander listing administrative updates (contact, coverage, consent) with who made them and when, including before/after views. One click to see; never mixed into your clinical review.
The Memory tab: problems, meds, and allergies with their codes, plus latest values with trend sparklines — every fact one click from its evidence.
📂 The Visits & docs tab
The ingredients you can add on top: previous encounters and uploaded documents, each with a checkbox to include in your next note. The profile above is included automatically on every note — the checkmark line at the top of this tab confirms it at the moment of generation; this tab is for the extras you choose per visit.
⚙️ Small conveniences
- Auto-open this panel — a switch that opens the panel automatically for patients with prior encounters.
- Contact quick-edit — update phone or email right from the panel.
- The panel remembers your preferred width; drag the divider to resize.
🤝 How it works with the Visit Panel
The Patient Panel (left) is who the patient is — the context flowing into your note. The Visit Panel (right) is what this visit changed — the AI's suggested chart updates for your review. Approve a suggestion on the right and the profile on the left updates immediately: what you confirm today is what the AI reads tomorrow.
