📍 Navigate to: Chat page → the soundwave icon in the top navigation bar, or press Alt + Shift + Right Arrow. The panel also opens by itself when there's something to show.
The Visit Panel is a right-side companion on the chat page that follows your visit from first word to final chart update. While you record, it shows the live transcript. After you complete the session, it becomes your review queue: the AI proposes chart updates it heard during the visit, and nothing touches the patient's record until you approve it.
🎙️ During the visit: the live transcript
Start recording and the panel opens with the live transcript beside your workspace — speakers, timestamps, and a recording clock — so you can glance at what's being captured without leaving the note.
✅ After the visit: review what the AI heard
When you complete a session, the AI reviews the visit against the patient's existing chart and suggests only what changed — a handful of updates instead of pages to re-read:
- New conditions and resolved ones
- Medication starts, stops, and dose changes
- Allergies, with reaction and severity when spoken
- Vitals and lab values mentioned aloud ("her A1c came back at 7.2")
- Immunizations, procedures, family history, and social history
- Any custom trackables your practice has defined
Every suggestion card shows what would change, the verbatim quote it came from, and a badge marking it as AI-suggested. Click the quote to open the source — including audio that jumps to the exact second it was said (see Evidence on Demand).
The review in action: the suggestion carries its code (ICD-10-CM M54.50), the exact words behind it, and the visit audio anchored at 0:21 — with the keyboard shortcuts along the top.
⌨️ Approve, edit, or reject — fast
- Approve commits the update to the chart, marked as clinician-confirmed.
- Edit lets you correct the value, name, or code first — the code picker only offers codes verified against current official releases, so a typo can't become chart truth.
- Reject records your decision with a quick reason (Wrong code · Wrong value · Not said / not true · Duplicate · Other). Rejected suggestions won't come back for the same visit.
Keyboard triage: ↑ / ↓ to move through suggestions, A to approve, E to edit, R to reject, Esc to close. "Accept all" is available per section — never for the whole visit blind.
🔁 Stops and resolutions get extra care
Suggestions that change the chart — stopping a medication, resolving a condition, changing a dose — appear as transition cards showing exactly what goes from → to, alongside what the chart currently says. Resolving an allergy asks you to type the allergy name to confirm; these cards are never included in "Accept all."
🖐️ "Needs your hand"
Anything the AI heard but couldn't safely file on its own — an ambiguous mention, a value for something not on the chart, a possible product swap — appears in an amber Needs your hand section with a plain-language reason. It's informational: nothing there acts on the chart. Mark items Handled once you've addressed them; items also clear automatically when the chart shows the concept was dealt with.
🧭 Honest status, always
The panel tells you whether the visit review ran, is still running, was skipped, or failed — an empty queue never silently pretends to be a clean one. "All caught up" appears only when the review actually completed. If a review failed, regenerating the note runs it again.
Didn't finish reviewing? Suggestions wait in the queue — you can come back anytime; the navbar button shows an amber badge with the pending count.
