Lesson 0.2 — Creating Your Account & First Login

Module 0, Lesson 2

Prerequisites: Lesson 0.1 — What is DeepCura?

Estimated time: 5 minutes

What You'll Learn

  • How to create your DeepCura account
  • The three sign-up methods available (email, Google, Apple)
  • How to verify your email address
  • What to expect on your first login

Step 1: Go to the Sign-Up Page

Open your browser and navigate to app.deepcura.com/register. You will see the DeepCura sign-in page with options to create a new account.

Step 2: Choose Your Sign-Up Method

You have three ways to create your account:

Option A: Email & Password

  1. Enter your email address in the Email field
  2. Create a strong password (minimum 8 characters, including uppercase, lowercase, and a number)
  3. Click Create Account

Option B: Sign in with Apple

  1. Click the Sign in with Apple button
  2. Authenticate with your Apple ID
  3. Choose whether to share or hide your email address

Tip: Google and Apple sign-in skip the email verification step since your identity is already confirmed by those providers.

Step 3: Verify Your Email

If you signed up with email and password:

  1. Check your inbox for a confirmation email from DeepCura
  2. Open the email and find the 6-digit verification code
  3. Return to the DeepCura sign-up page and enter the code
  4. Click Confirm to verify your account

Didn't receive the email? Check your spam/junk folder. If it is not there, click Resend Code on the verification page.

Step 4: Meet Emily — Your AI Onboarding Consultant

After verifying your account (or signing in with Google/Apple), you are taken to a full-page AI Consultant experience. Emily, your onboarding AI assistant, appears as an animated orb in the center of the screen and greets you via voice and text.

Emily will ask about your medical specialty, preferred AI model, practice details, and language preferences through a natural voice or text conversation. You can speak to Emily using the microphone button or type in the chat input at the bottom of the screen.

This conversational onboarding takes about 2 minutes. You can update all of these settings later from Settings > Profile Settings.

Step 5: Your First Login — The Patient Dashboard

Once Emily finishes your onboarding conversation, you land on the Patient Dashboard. This is your home base — the first thing you see every time you open DeepCura after your initial setup.

The dashboard is clean and empty on your first visit. That is expected. As you create notes and interact with patients, it populates with your clinical data.

The First-Login Flow at a Glance

  1. Register — Create your account (email, Google, or Apple)
  2. Verify email — Enter the 6-digit code (email sign-up only)
  3. Meet Emily — Full-page AI Consultant onboarding conversation
  4. Patient Dashboard — Your home base, ready to use

Note that Emily appears before the Patient Dashboard on your first login. On subsequent logins, you go directly to the dashboard.
