Use macros to insert pre-written phrases into your notes. Below is the guide to set them up.
⚡ Understanding Keyword Flags
Instead of typing the same phrases over and over, you can use keywords to insert common information with just a simple command. Like an informed consent paragraph (e.g., "The procedure, including risks and alternatives, was explained in detail and informed consent was obtained.")
Keyword Flags: Included in your original template and triggered by a custom command (e.g., “delta ECT Consent”).
Quick Phrases: Manually saved snippets you click to insert. Check this article here to learn more on quick phrases
🛠️ Step 2: Set It Up
1. Go to Create Templates. You can start a new template or edit an existing one you already use.
2. Â Create a new template or Edit your existing template
3. Click on Show Advanced Options
4. Scroll down to the Keyword Flags section.
5. Click Add Keyword Flag.
4. Enter a trigger phrase and the text you'd like the AI to insert automatically.
💡 What is a trigger phrase? It is a unique command (e.g., "insert informed consent" or “delta informed consent”) that tells the AI to add a specific section into your note. You can add multiple macros to your daily template. They’ll only appear when you use their specific trigger during documentation.
5. Click save template
🎤 Step 3: Use It Live
During recording your interaction with the patient or simply dictating, you can say anytime your trigger (e.g., “delta injection Consent”) and the AI inserts the preset text automatically.
📊 Step 4: Quick Comparison Macros vs Quick Phrases
| Keyword Flags | Quick Phrases |
| Activated by a trigger phrase (voice or text) | Manually selected from a list |
| Auto-inserted while documenting | Inserted after the documentation |
