What You'll Learn
- Generate patient visualizations in multiple styles with the AI Visualizer
- Upload PDF templates and auto-detect fillable fields with AI Forms
- Fill forms using voice dictation and AI-powered field mapping
Part 1: AI Visualizer
The AI Visualizer, found under AI Visualizer in the sidebar, transforms raw patient data into rich, interactive HTML documents. Think of it as a design studio for clinical data -- you select a patient and a visualization style, and the AI generates a polished document in seconds.
Choosing a Visualization Style
The Visualizer offers five built-in prompt templates, each producing a distinct output:
- Patient Letter -- A beautifully designed letter addressed to the patient, summarizing their visit, key findings, treatment plan, and next steps. Uses warm typography and print-optimized layout.
- Dashboard View -- A one-page dashboard with metric cards for vital stats, medication lists, allergy summaries, and upcoming appointments. Data is presented in a grid layout with color-coded sections.
- Timeline -- A visual chronological timeline of clinical encounters, vital readings, and medication changes. Events are plotted as nodes on a vertical line with expandable detail cards.
- Analytics -- Data visualizations including donut charts for medication distribution, bar charts for quantitative comparisons, and summary statistics. Built entirely with CSS for fast rendering.
- Clinical Evidence Mode -- Every data point includes superscript reference numbers linking to an evidence table at the bottom. Designed for clinical documentation where traceability is critical. Strict anti-hallucination rules ensure only source data is displayed.
Generating and Viewing
Select a patient from your directory, choose a style (or write your own custom prompt), and click Generate. The AI streams the HTML output in real time, displaying the result in a live preview panel. You can interact with the rendered output, and the generated document can be shared or printed.
Step-by-Step Workflow
- In the left sidebar, open the AI Agents toggle, then click Patient Visualizer.
- Select the patient you want to generate a report for. Click Refresh to load the most up-to-date patient files.
- Choose one of the pre-made templates from the quick-start menu.
- Click Generate Visualization. The output renders in real time in the preview panel.
Custom Prompts
You can also type a custom prompt to generate your own personalized dashboard or report. For example:
Create a table where each row represents a lab check-in (with date), and columns show: TSH value, Free T4, Levothyroxine dose at that time, and Notes (e.g., symptoms or reason for dose change).
Important Notes
- Each report uses 5 credits.
- Visualizations are limited to the 5 most recent encounters to ensure accuracy. Expanded history support is coming soon.
- Dashboards are not saved inside DeepCura. Download as a PDF to keep them for future reference or sharing.

Part 2: AI Forms
AI Forms, accessible from AI Forms in the sidebar, automates PDF form filling using AI and voice dictation. It is designed for practices that deal with paper-based forms -- intake forms, insurance forms, consent documents, referral forms -- and want to eliminate manual data entry.
DeepCura can automate even the most complex PDF forms. Upload once, set up custom fields if needed, and reuse the same template every time. No more endless manual typing.
Video Walkthrough
Step 1: Open AI Forms
In the left sidebar, click on Agents, then select AI Forms.
Uploading a PDF Template
Click Upload Template to drag and drop or select a PDF file. During upload, the AI performs advanced field detection: it scans the PDF for form fields, checkboxes, text areas, and signature lines. A progress bar shows the detection process, which typically takes 30-60 seconds for complex multi-page forms.
You can optionally provide a Custom Prompt during upload to guide the AI's field detection -- for example, "This is a workers' compensation form with employer information in section 2."
Field Mapping
Once uploaded, the template appears in your library with all detected fields listed. You can view the PDF with field overlays, edit field names, add custom fields, and rearrange the field mapping. The Field Mapper provides a visual interface for connecting detected PDF regions to named fields.
Review Detected Fields & Add Custom Fields
The system automatically identifies fillable fields in your PDF. If you need extra fields:
- Click the grey pencil icon labeled Edit to enter editing mode.
- Click the Add Custom Field button above.
- Click and drag to draw a rectangle on the PDF where the field should be.
- Fill in the field details and save.
- Use extraction hints to guide the AI on how to fill the field correctly.
Custom fields are saved inside the template, so this empty PDF can be reused again and again with the same setup.
Filling Forms With Voice
The standout feature is voice-powered form filling. Select a template, click Fill Form, and start speaking. As you dictate patient information ("Patient name John Smith, date of birth March 15 1985, insurance Blue Cross policy number ABC123"), the AI maps your spoken words to the correct form fields.
You can also paste or type a patient note or transcript directly into the text area, and the AI will complete the form for you -- filling 80%+ of fields instantly.
After the AI fills the fields, review the populated form, make corrections if needed, and download the completed PDF.
Template Library
All uploaded templates are saved in your library for reuse. You can search templates by name, preview the original PDF, and delete templates you no longer need. Templates are shared across your workspace, so any team member can fill forms using the same templates.
Review and Download
Review the preview to check for small errors or formatting fixes. Make adjustments if needed.
Important: Always click Download to save your completed PDF. Filled versions are not stored; only your base template setup is saved for future use.
