DeepCura's AI Scribe listens to your patient encounter and generates a complete clinical note — SOAP notes, H&P notes, procedure notes, and more. It works with 50+ specialties and supports multiple documentation styles.

How It Works — Step by Step

Create a patient — Click the + button in the sidebar to create a new patient note. Enter the patient's name.
Start recording — Click Record to begin capturing the encounter. The AI listens to the conversation in real time and displays a live transcript. You can also dictate, type notes in the text box, or upload a pre-recorded audio file.
Complete the session — When the encounter is finished, click "Complete Session" to stop recording.
Select a template — After you stop recording, the Templates section appears below. Browse your templates and click on the template you want to use. This step triggers note generation — the note is NOT generated automatically. You must select a template.
Review and edit — The AI generates a structured clinical note based on your selected template and the encounter transcript. Make any adjustments using the built-in editor, then send to your EHR or download.

Important: The note will not generate until you select a template. Templates are hidden while recording is active and only appear after you click "Complete Session."

Ambient listening — The AI listens to the natural conversation between you and your patient
Dictation — Speak your notes directly and the AI structures them into your template format
Audio upload — Upload a pre-recorded audio file for processing
Typed context — Type or paste notes into the text box below the recording area
Context documents — Attach up to 1,000 pages of patient records (labs, faxes, prior notes, handwritten notes) for the AI to reference during note generation

The AI Scribe generates notes based on customizable templates. You can:

Use a ready-made template from the Template Library (SOAP, H&P, Follow-Up, specialty-specific)
Create your own template that matches your preferred note structure
Paste a sample note and DeepCura will learn your style
