This guide explains how to create a Pre-Chart for a patient and how the physician can then use it during the consultation.
👩⚕️ For the person doing the Pre-Charting (nurse, assistant, etc.)
📁 Step 1: Create or Find Patient Folder
➕ Step 2: Add a Pre-Chart
Click the '+' button to start a new Pre-Chart — this is where you’ll gather all the key info before the consult.
📝 Step 3: Clear Instructions & Paste Relevant Information
A default instruction note will appear. Select all (Ctrl + A) and delete it.
Paste the essentials — vitals, labs, SOAP notes — nothing extra.
💾 Step 4: Auto-Save
No need to click anything — it auto-saves in real time.
✅ Done! The Pre-Chart is ready for the main physician.
👨⚕️ For the physician during the consult
🧠 Step 1: Add as Context
Click “Add as Context” on the Pre-Chart. This merges the nurse’s note with your own findings.
🎙️ Step 2: Start Recording
Click “Start Recording” and begin your conversation with the patient.
🛑 Step 2.5: Stop Recording & Complete Session
Once you finish with the patient, click “Complete session”
This tells DeepCura you’re done and locks in the audio for note generation.
📋 Step 3: Select a Template
Choose your preferred note style (SOAP, narrative, etc.).
⚙️ Step 4: Let It Generate
DeepCura will combine everything and generate the clinical note automatically.
✅ Done! Your note is complete, including the pre-charted info.
