The absence of recorded audio could stem from multiple causes, and we troubleshoot them all here.

Note: Using headphones while recording prevents your patient's input from being captured, which might be contributing to the issue.

  • Generally you should get a pop up directly requesting microphone access, in case it did not or you accidentally declined access here is how to enable:

    1. Open Chrome: Launch the browser on your device.
    2. Navigate to Settings: Click on the three-dot menu in the top-right corner, then go to Settings.
    3. Privacy and Security: In the left sidebar, select Privacy and security, then click on Site settings.
    4. Microphone Permissions: Scroll down to the Permissions section and click on Microphone.
    5. Allow Access: Under the "Default behavior" section, ensure the toggle for "Ask before accessing" is turned on. To allow a specific site, add it under Allow.
    6. Grant Permission: When a site requests microphone access, click Allow in the pop-up notification.
  • This is the most popular issue among our users, you simply need to go to your browser's settings and select as input the appropriate microphone.

    1. Go to settings

    2. Then on privacy and security select site settings.

    3. Scroll down and select "Microphone"

    4. Select the appropriate microphone, and now it should work.

Note: if your recording is longer than 60 minutes, we require you to have high upload internet speed.

Browser Performance

We have learned that Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox have the best performance for our application. It's extremely important that you keep your browser updated and free of corrupted or outdated extensions.
