This article teaches you how to access and edit your templates step-by-step.
📂 Step 1: Access Your Templates
To edit your templates, go to the Create Templates.
✏️ Step 2: Edit or Heal
To manually edit: Click the pencil icon
To have the AI assist you with editing, click the band-aid icon. Check more about that below.
📝 Step 3: New title + instructions
Add your new instructions and make sure to add a new title.
Do not worry about testing your edits here. The updated version will be saved as a new template while the old one stays the same, completely untouched.
👁️ Step 4: Which Type of Template Do You Have?
Your template will appear in one of two formats:

If your template is full-text, continue to Step 5

If your template is Lego-style, skip to Step 6
Step 5: Full Text Block
Just modify your text to match your new instructions.
Step 6: Lego-style
You can reorder, rename, and add specific instructions to each of the fields.
💾 Step 7: Preview & Save Your Template
You can preview your template by clicking "Preview AI Result" to see how it will look with a random interaction.
If you’re happy with the changes, click "Save Template" to save your work.
To return to the editing page, click "Close".
🩹 Need a Quick Fix?
For quick fixes, click the band-aid icon in the AI Template Playground. The AI will suggest improvements to your template.
⚠️ Warning
You cannot preview or edit your Nurse CoPilot templates.
It’s best to keep a Google Doc with your templates for quick reference.
